Norway Mobilizes Against IE6 – You Should Too!
I recently read a couple of posts on Norway and people from DownloadSquad campaigning for users to stop using the old, unsecure and slow IE6… Too many still keep using it. I keep telling them everyday… yet they don’t listen. And when they get viruses, adware, spyware, they come to me… And I blame their IE6 for the most part of it and solves their problems… Some keep using IE6 even after having so many problems due to it…. I recommend that you too start using Google Chrome, Firefox, Opera 9 or Safari! They’re all free, safe and super fast!

It’s no secret that Internet Explorer has a history of thumbing its nose
at web standards. IE8 is supposed to change all that, bringing improved
(how could it not be?) compliance. An unfortunate side effect, however, is
that some sites that have been designed to display properly in IE7 (or
older) don’t look so hot in the new version.
I particularly like one excerpt from the IEBlog: Site owners are *always*
in control of their content. That’s important to remember in case you were
thinking the browser had something to do with why a site looks fine in
Firefox, Chrome, or Opera but not IE…

IE6 is a complete disaster :S
My clients have imposed IE6 in their requirements, altogether with IE7.
Sometimes its a real nightmare to develop web applications which have to work in these 2 IEs.
But at home, I use firefox
I understand that. Used to get that requirement too… It just happens that the european clients are using IE only!
